- Family forced to pay extra $4,000 for new tickets after Air Canada bars them from flight by CBC News. “Even if I was on my death bed and I needed immediate treatment in U.S., I’d rather die than go on Air Canada”, what a quote. Surely there must be more to this story, if there isn’t then Air Canada is massively in the wrong. Comments of this reddit thread also share every bodies terrible experience with Air Canada.

This is good news for Platinum. But I would like to point out that Citi baggage insurance doesn’t have this limitation at all. CSR has it at $500, Platinum at (now) $1000 but with Citi you can use entire insured amount for anything. Insured amount is $3000 too.
