while i don't personally fly SQ, the ability to pay w/ credit card is important because of all the trip delay/cancellation/baggage protections that it offers. "alternative" payment methods do not offer these protections. so it's good that PR pressure has caused SQ to reverse the decision.
now if only US airlines are as sensitive to customer feedback, and in a real way, not "based on customer feedback, we are going to raise fare and shorten leg room"
I found the Singapore article that was in the NYC AirBnB article even more crazy. I stayed for a week in Singapore over Thanksgiving weekend in an AirBnB. Didn’t know the person who rented it out to me was risking jail time or a huge fine for < $80 a night.
