- Citi is sending out refund checks if you were enrolled in their credit monitoring program. This is part of a class action settlement. Hat tip to reader Jeremy.
I received a Citi refund for credit monitoring, but the Payee name is a completely different name than mine. My name is listed on the letter as something like “account name”, but the check and the letter itself were addressed to a completely different name.
I called Citi and they promised they’d investigate and call me back, but I doubt that’ll happen.
Curious if anyone else experienced this as well.
Good article on winning claims as an ebay seller. I have had similar experiences. My top tip is to call and speak with a rep. If you have concerns about a buyer and what they are doing, explain those to the rep. They understand there are buyers out there looking to rip people off. ebay is not always as one sided as it seems. I’ve read the horror stories too. I know they’ve not been fair but I also personally know of a case where they reinstated a seller that they were unfair to previously. Be honest, forthcoming, and calm. Take excellent notes. You have to be your own best advocate with them.
