- The Latest Amazon Prime Benefit: Free Shipping At Woot by DansDeals. Don’t think I’ve bought anything from Woot for a long time, but might be useful to some people.
- When Booking Two Cruise Cabins is a Better Deal than Booking One (Plus, DCL Rant) by Miles For Family. Cruising isn’t really my thing, but I know some people love it and can definitely see why it would be attractive for families. Can’t believe the premium Disney cruises charge, that’s crazy.
- 20% Uber Discount off Rides Across the United States of America to Celebrate Black History Month 2018 by Uber Codes. Only to and from certain places.
- Privacy.com and Ingo (UA MileagePlus GO) ban me for no reason by DEM Flyers. Anybody else get a similar ban?
- Seattle Museum Month: 50% or 100% Off Museums (Ends February 28) by Travel With Grant. Not a huge amount of time left, but if you’re heading to Seattle here you go.
I’ve never seen http://www.demflyers.com/ discussed before. It seems as though the poster isn’t very active, and this is just a vent posting in relation to Privacy.com. I actually have linked my WF account with them, and never had trouble. I have received nothing but great customer service from them. I have contacted them on two separate occasions about some issues I had.
Given the dates, the email was received on the 18th and the post was made on the 20th. Possible that privacy gave a canned response, the blogger should follow up with them again before flaming them online.
I love Privacy and would hate for one blogger’s minimal attempts at a resolution stand in the way of others using this service.
dem flyers aren’t that active on the blog, but they are very active on social media and the community in general. Esther did try to escalate the problem before posting as well.
I’m the blogger who wrote the post and am trying to see if anyone else has had an issue and if they’ve ever resolved it. I really want to use privacy.com, but from every similar case to mine (all two of them I could find on the internet), the company refuses to provide anything other than the same exact canned we-can’t-talk-to-you responses to further inquiries from people they’ve banned. Doesnt seem like great customer service to me. What if someone had previously tried to set up an account under my identity? Apparently that precludes me from ever having a legitimate account. I’ll never know.
Esther I’m on your side, I think you replied to the wrong person 😉
I’ve been helped by two separate staff members promptly in the past. Never dealing with opening accounts though. There’s always variables on your end. Maybe you were overseas when you applied or were using a VPN.
Why not try signing up again. I’m sure you have more than one bank account and email address you can register with.
I love privacy. Best of luck with it. I’ve successfully filed a charge back with them and fixed declined charges from a a closed bank account I had on file.
