Got the deal! Now I need to transfer $10 to the account since I only have $1510 to keep it fee free.

There’s a few variants of this one. Mine is $5 extra for using any offer.

Another friends has $10 for using 2 offers.

FWIW, I’ve used an ATT offer a year-ish back, and In-N-Out like 6 times. Not sure if related at all for targeting, as I’ve used a “restaurant” offer before.

Be very careful with Regions Bank. They have a history of not coming through on these type of deals or delaying reimbursement for long periods of time.

Never got mine. I spent $15 Walmart Neighborhood grocery store on Dec 31. Grocery transaction didn’t end up posting until Jan 2nd, so it’s possible it’s my fault it didn’t automatically catch it. I submitted a SM a couple days later asking if promo went off transaction date, or it was post date that mattered. No response to that question, just said I had to wait 60 days to submitted a ticket. Submitted ticket request today… as I just remembered it never came through. I don’t think it will happen.

Ultimately I did get paid, but I spent too much time on it. SM’s did not work and got directed to call.

Had to contact the Regions “solution center” via phone (1-800-839-7089), which was over a 20 minute phone call. Overall, the CSR was pretty negative about it every step of the way. Said she could see the notes on the account, that I contacted them, but nobody processed the request. Read the details of promo to her, then wanted me to email it to her, but I didn’t have my copy – I was reading it off from here. She said she didn’t recall that offer, like I was screwed right there. Had to tell her when I signed up… which I didn’t have the exact date but knew about when I did. CSR had to pull up the offer, which she eventually found. She read the offer back to me. Then, pulled up my transaction and stated it was just listed as Walmart #XXX, not walmart neighborhood market and implied that was why it did not payout. She stayed with that story for quite some time and I was just about fed up of hearing about it and was going to hang up. She googled the store number and saw it was what I said, and was still going on about depends on how Walmart & Visa coded it, if it went through as Grocery. So, finally, CSR tells me she is submitting my information to a 3rd party and they make the decision based on the MCC coding. Lastly, CSR stated I should give it about 5 business days and then call her back directly to find out the status.

A $10 generic “deposit” showed up a few days later. I didn’t bother to call her back because I feel confident that was the refund/bonus for this promo.

Way too much work for too little reward. My recommendations… take screenshots of offer, screenshot showing you were enrolled, take notes, do the spend well before expiration, and expect to wait. Then call, don’t bother with SM’s.
