Our Verdict

I find Rocktmiles to be more expensive than booking directly/using another online travel agency and they sometimes offer bonuses for up to 5,000 points/miles. The only advantage to this offer is you can pick any of their airline partners. Unfortunately these bonus miles do not count towards the companion pass for southwest (but the miles you earn from the actual booking should count).

I’m still waiting for a booking to make sense with Rocketmiles or any of these other mileage earning websites to make sense, but it hasn’t happened yet (I don’t fancy buying miles at 3¢+, that’s the price differences I’ve seen in the past). Still might make sense for some of you. Appreciate you using my referral link if that’s the case.

  • Avoid them, I have had issues with them - they will try and weasel out of honoring the promotion for unpublished rules. Me and my wife created separate accounts to avail of a similar promotion to the one above and then booked back to back 1-night stays. They refused to honor the promotion because "according to them" it is just a single stay. I informed them that there was no "household restriction" and they basically informed me that they interpret it differently and don't need to publish it. their customer service is horrible and rude - they told me to cancel the reservation.

  • I've also found them to be more expensive. Sometimes over a hundred more for a stay. there are cash back offers from portals
