A few days ago we received an anonymous e-mail stating that Barclays & JetBlue were considering launching a premium card, details were sparse so we decided not to post. Then Today it was announced that JetBlue & Barclays would be extending their co-branded credit card relationship. Existing cardholders have also received a survey regarding such a card asking questions regarding the annual fee and potential benefits (lounge access, airline & hotel status).
Jetblue has lounges?
I heard from Barclays agent that it will come with JetBlue lounge access.
JetBlue has lounges?
Does JetBlue even have a lounge?
JetBlue is the one airline I will never fly on. Worst on time record of any major airline and worst at cancellations at the last minute without notice.
Complete nonsense. JetBlue is excellent. Perhaps you would like spirit or frontier much better
I’ve been a mosaic for the past 4 years or so and I’ve never had issues with JetBlue. In fact, when Delta was cancelling flights due to snow, JetBlue was still flying. I suspect you’re not based in NYC as JetBlue out of JFK is superior to Delta or any other domestic airline.
If JetBlue is considered bad by you, try describing American Airlines/Spirit. I’m just curious how you will describe it.
The irony of a Premium card with Jet Blue is astounding. Next thing you know Dollar General will have one.
I’ve heard worse ideas.
Dollar General World Elite Mastercard:
$495 AF
5x points at Dollar General or fast food joints
3x points on gas or public transit
1x points on everything else
$300 annual McDonald’s credit
Will be submitting my resume to Barclays shortly
I love rumors because rumors lead to hype, and hype leads to disappointment and outrage.
Yes. Yes. Yes. As a huge JB fan this would be amazing!
@William Charles Do you have a link to screenshots of the surveys sent out? Ik it’s just rumors but I’m still interested.
No sorry
Any idea on what this premium card would offer?
Oh snap
