Not seeing this on the Acme app or Acme Just4You website. Not sure if it is just targeted at the Safeway banner or something else is going on.

14% off (with $50 card), nice! Time to stack up on hotel.com cards. but its going to be a pain calling in and merging a bunch of 50 dollar cards... the card merge functionality on their website is still down.
You can just do this online, no need to call.
I called in couple times to merge a bunch of cards and it was super easy. Just provide the card numbers, amount and where you bought them.
I called to merge a few cards for the first time. They required that I know exactly where every single card came from, down to the street address of the store. After a few tries they finally accepted "grocery store in CA", but it was a pain. If you receive hotels.com cards as actual gifts, you're screwed since you won't know exactly where they came from unless you kept track of who gave you which card and contacted them to ask where they got it. Not only awkward, but also a total pain.
