Our Verdict

Looks like it might only work in a very specific area, see map above. It says you have 50 uses as well, I’d recommend only adding the code if you can actually use it as they are usually limited to the number of people that can redeem them.

  • It's specific to one city in South Carolina, Columbia. The main reason is to address a need of folks not getting to grocery stores, as well as low late night ridership on the bus (it's cheaper to pay $5 towards a ride than run an empty bus at $100 an hour). The COMET will get the bill and be able to see usage and origin/destination as part of the promo.

  • Getting "Sorry, this code has been used up" message from Lyft but it worked on Uber, but Comet is not available in my area.

    • It works to add it, but you won't be able to actually use it unless your trip is within the map area.

    • You can always add codes but you won't be able to redeem it which is why it says don't add it if you can't use it. You just wasted 1 for someone else
