- Singapore Airlines offers something called Spontaneous Escapes, basically it’s just discount award flights. This time they are offering discounted award flights on some new routes.
- Singapore to New York in premium economy for 40,000 miles one way (normally 70,000 miles). Travel period is October 11th until November 30th, 2018
- Singapore to San Francisco/Los Angeles in premium economy for 38,000 miles one way (normally 65,000 miles). Travel period is November 1st until November 30th, 2018
- Singapore to San Francisco/Los Angeles in business class for 65,000 miles one way (normally 88,000 miles). Travel period is November 1st until November 30th, 2018

- Chase Ultimate Rewards
- Citi ThankYou points
Usually we see these discounted award flights for flights within Asia, so it’s nice to see some to North America on these new routes.

Those are gone, so I imagine you only have to pay ~$50 these days in fees.
It looks like around 50 Singapore $. Premium economy has the most discount rate.
