[Expired] Southwest Personal Cards 75,000 Points Signup with $5,000 Spend in 6 Months (Available On Mobile Only)

Update 3/16/20: The offer details doesn’t mention the 75,000 0ffer. Only 40,000. If you already signed up I think you should be able to get the 75,000 offer as this is clearly Chase’s mistake but I’m marking this as expired for now.

The Offer

Need to open links on mobile: Plus | Premier | Priority

  • Signup for the Southwest Plus or Premier credit card and get up to 75,000 Southwest points:
    • Get 40,000 points when you spend $1,000 within 3 months.
    • Get 35,000 when you spend $5,000 within 6 months (for a possible total of 75,000 points).

Card Details

  • Chase 5/24 rule does apply to this card
  • Annual fees are not waived the first year
  • The Premier personal and business cards earn a 6,000 points anniversary bonus; the Plus earns 3,000 points anniversary bonus; the Priority earns 7,500 anniversary bonus

Our Verdict

We’ve seen this offers before, interesting that they only show up on mobile currently. Check out these Things to Know about Chase before applying. If you recently got the Southwest card, you might be able to get this offer matched. These offers also make it fairly easy to get a Southwest companion pass. I think we’re going to see a lot of increase offers in the near future as struggling airlines & hotels look for cash injections from their financial partners. I’ll be adding this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

That’s strange, I’m still seeing the 40k+35k offer.

Note that the detailed offer terms make no mention of the additional 35K (despite what the landing page says). I would definitely consider this an “Apply at your own risk” situation. You might be able to get Chase to honor it, but if the 75K is not coded into their system, they would be under full rights to refuse it.

Any pre-approval links out there?

William Charles I don’t think this 75k offer actually exists right now. I believe Chase just forgot to update their mobile site from their previous promo. You can easily see the different site versions (desktop v. mobile) by narrowing your web browser. However, most importantly, when you click on “Offer Details”, it mentions nothing with regards to 75k bonus, only 40k.

Any new card from any bank adds to 5/24. And, Chase services this card, so you need to meet 5/24. It’s in the article bullet points. Hung atxvinyl
