This is a great offer, basically works out to be a 10% discount + credit card rewards (up to another 10%) plus Speedy Rewards points. Nice way to lock in a big discount if Speedy is a choice for you. Enjoy.

  • Where can you use these GCs? Only at speedway gas stations? Or do they have partners you can use them at?

  • I did a $50 purchase the other day. The cashier told me its only for food and merch. and then I was handed a $5 food and merch gift card. I buy food in there so it's not a big deal for me.

  • Slightly disturbed that the description says spend on "Speedy Cash Gift Card or Food and Merchandise Card" but you receive a coupon for "Food and Merchandise Card" only. Is the fuel card option gone now? :( Guess I'll find out for sure in the store..

  • I am not 100% sure, but I believe the $5 bonus is only for merchandise and canjot be used for gas. Also, if you buy a $100 card there is a 1500 speedy points bonus.

      I guess earlier some time back we had this "if you buy a $100 card there is a 1500 speedy points bonus"

      But not now.

      Price of a $100 card is automatically adjusted to $98 and also we get 600 in points.

      • There is a sign in Michigan speedways offering the 1500 points. BTW, I have never been charged $98 for $100 giftcards and I always scan my card (to get the 1500 bonus points). IS there a chance this varies by state?

          Probably the points might vary with state. Please see the above image of the transaction which i did today in Florida.

          You can see that $50 gift card price was adjusted to $50 plus get 300 in points + $5 coupon (This time though i did NOT get the physical coupon. It was sent directly to my mobile app)

      You will be prompted with "Choose this Month's Perk". Here you have "4" options/offers to choose for Feb 2017 and it is here that you need to select and activate the offer "Spend $50 in Speedy Cash and get $5".

      Be careful. There are different types of cards. Speedy Cash/ Speedy Gas/ Speedy Food and Merchandise.

      • I am Speedy rewards member. I buy $100 Speedy cash card for $100, not $98. Please let me know how can I get it for $98

          You might have forgotten to scan your membership card and thats the reason you might have paid $100 for a $100 card.

          I did exactly below.

          1) Grab one UN-loaded Speedway cash gift card from the store
          2) At the counter, Scan Speedy Rewards Membership Card
          2) Then Scan Speedway Cash Gift Card and ask the staff to load $200 onto it.
          3) I was asked to pay $196 which i did
          4) I got my Speedway Cash gift card with $200 loaded on it + 1200 in points + four "$5" coupons which i later reimbursed for four "Food and Merchandise" gift cards.

          All four coupons can be loaded onto one gift card but the lady at the counter said its not possible and i told her i did it before and she was like "NO". I did not want to argue with her and just took 4 $5 gift cards.
