Staples Software Back This Week (New Deal) – Limit 1

We wrote about an opportunity that came up last week to buy $400 of software downloads from Staples and get it all rebated back via Staples Easy Rebates. It as an excellent deal because you can go through a portal and you can rack up INK points or use up Staples gift cards purchased at 20% off from Discover. This week, Staples is back with the same deal again. It’s a new deal with a new rebate form which means that you can do this again, even if you did last week’s deal.

Which Portal to Use?

If you are interested in doing this deal with the limit of one, you’ll want to maximize by going through a shopping portal, as noted. I went through the Splender portal last week for 5% back, and it came through without a hitch.

  • I was very unlucky on this. Their first rebate offer (the limit is 10 per household) ended on 1/23, and the second rebate offer (the limit went down to 1) started on 1/24. I saw this rebate on 1/23, and placed the order on 1/24 to buy 10 of them. Now I could only get one rebate of $39.98. A lesson learned. :(

  • Had the same issue with the rebate being denied for missing UPC. Submitted it online. I think they didn't expect the response they received.

    I ordered a download version, wonder how to get upc for that

    • Did you try submitting it on the Staples Easy Rebate site? You don't need a UPC there, just the order number and your personal info, etc.

  • damnit, you snooze you lose... I rly thought last wks rebate deal was ongoing and ended 1/30... didnt know Staples was gonna be tricky and switch it up by starting a *new* rebate this week and also put in a limit of 1. if they had just continued the deal from last week it woulda be 10 for all customers for a period of 2 wks.

    now, for those who got in last wk can do a total of 11 :/ me personally, dont feel like just doing 1. shoulda just done the 10 yest & got it over with.
