The Offer
- State Department FCU is sending out an offer to get 3% cashback on all eligible purchases through September 30, 2025. This is in honor of their 90 years of service.
Our Verdict
Sounds like this was sent out to everyone, but maybe not. I’m not sure how many people have this card. It’s nice to get 3% everywhere for a few months and turn it into your daily driver.

I have an SDFCU credit card and did not receive this e-mail.
This is capped at $100 earning max so 10k spend limit. FYI.
One of the few PIN-preferred cards in the US, so European waiters don't have to sigh and find a pen when they bring the check.
Are you sure? I looked it up and it seems like they are no longer PIN-preferred.
They haven't issued new PIN preferring cards since summer 2020.
Oh, sad day. The change has not been enforced on older cards which are PIN-preferred (similar to USAA I guess).
I have this card and haven't gotten this offer, but Imay be opted out of promotional emails.
