[Expired] Topcashback: Get $75 Cashback with New Blue Apron Signup

Update 4/14/24: Topcashback has $75 now. There are lots of other portal options, such as 5,500 Ultimate Rewards points. Stacks well with the $25-off-$50 Amex Offer or Citi Offer deal. There’s also a 10% Chase Offer deal.

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Swagbucks is offering 7,000 points (worth $70) when you sign up for a new Blue Apron subscription. You also get $20 off your first three orders. Some people are being offered $75

The Fine Print

  • SB will appear as Pending for 32 days.
  • $60 savings will be split over your first three orders.
  • You will receive $20 off your first, second, and third box.
  • Offer only available to new Blue Apron customers.
  • If you cancel your subscription within 30 days, your SB will be revoked. SB will be revoked if combined with any other codes, coupons, discounts or offers.
  • If you make a purchase without having a genuine interest in the product/service being offered, any SB awarded will be revoked and your Swagbucks account may be terminated for violation of our terms requiring honest and legitimate member behavior.

Deal History

  • Update 1/1/24: Topcashback has $80 now (ht ShawntheShawn)
  • Update 11/20/23: Topcashback has $75 now. Some have 5,500 with the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal. (ht Pratham)
  • Update 4/30/23: Deal is back again at $80.
  • Update 4/16/23: Deal now $80.
  • Update 9/19/22: Back to $65 on Ibotta. Looks like you can also get a $100 giftcard. Hat tip to thedailychurn
  • Update 9/5/22: Back at $70 now on Swagbucks and 12,000 on MyPoints and $65 on Ibotta; with Ibotta you just need to keep it for one delivery whereas with SB/MP you need to keep it for two. (There’s no SimplyMiles offer now and I don’t think there’s any Amex Offer. Not sure about Citi.)
  • Update 8/14/22: Back at $60 on Rakuten, Swagbucks/MyPoints. Simply Miles 1,200 too. Not sure if Amex/Citi have their $25 offer now. (ht Kyle)
  • Update 5/29/22: It’s $75 on Swagbucks, 14,000 on MyPoints (around $90), and 6,000/$60 on Rakuten. Stack with $25 off $50 with the Citi Offer or the Amex Offer. Also 1,200 AA miles when linking with the SimplyMiles program. Note: The Rakuten offer seems to require just one delivery whereas the Swagbucks/MP offers require two.
  • Update 3/25/22: now $90 on swagbucks.
  • Update 3/5/22: Amex offer is back and it’s $65 on Swagbucks as well.
  • Update 12/1/31: I’m still seeing this at $65 on Swagbucks and similar on MyPoints; just today there’s a newly released Amex Offer for $25 off $50, valid through 1/31/22, which should stack well.
  • Update 10/10/21: Back again at $65. Should stack with Citi Merchant Offer of $25 back on a purchase of $50 or more & 1200 AA miles on a purchase of $50 or more on SimplyMiles
  • Update 9/17/20: Deal is back at $65 this time. Hat tip to reader Kyle (similar deal on myPoints for 10,000 points which is worth around $65)
  • Update 2/26/20: Deal is back at $75. Stack with Amex Offer for potential additional $20 off.
  • Update 10/19/19: Deal is back. Hat tip to reader Jay
  • Update 9/14/19: Bonus has been increased to $70/$75. Definitely worth doing now.

Our Verdict

Cheapest plan is 2 recipes per week for $27.95 after discount (plus shipping) or you can do three recipes per week for $39.94 with free shipping. American Express is offering 10% back on meal delivery kits as well. You need to keep your subscription for 30 days, but you can pause orders to make this a money maker – although I’m not 100% sure if paused orders will still trigger the Swagbucks. It might make more sense to wait for the Ibotta deal to return instead.

If you’re new to Swagbucks then please read our review. You can also get a bonus of up to $13 by using a referral link.

a little DP. use the “Shop with Chase” link for the 5,500 UR points and paid with my Amex platinum that has the $25 off $50 offer.

the amex platinum cashback went through but the “Shop with Chase” didn’t track. I sent a secure message and the chase rep said that I needed to use my chase card

To receive bonus rewards for the purchases done via Shop
through Chase portal, you must complete your purchase
using your Chase credit card with Ultimate Rewards before
leaving the merchant’s website.

[name] as you have used non-Chase credit card for making a
transaction of $50.00, this transaction does not qualify
to receive points for the purchase done via Shop through
Chase portal.”

Back to $35 Cashback on TCB

I don’t know if it’s common that TCB missed the tracking of all the purchases I made this year. Some years they even tried to deny the payout on my account. Avoid TCB like a plague.

TCB has never paid out a bonus over $100 for me (they did pay most of the smaller ones). I tried 3 times before I realized it was not a coincidence. They also lied about it.

Anyone know if blue apron codes as ‘grocery’ for the Amex Gold? I have 25 off 50 offer on both the Amex gold and Citi Doublecash.

I think I’d rather do the Rakuten $50 back considering the comments around TCB tracking and the 30-day subscription requirement

I have had bad experiences with them. They want you to forget about what they owe you..you have to hound them for them to pay…

I only started using TCB in late March. I’ve had all my purchases tracked so far (~20), but all still in ‘Pending’. Let’s see if any of them get ‘confirmed’.

I’ve only used Rakuten and AA portals, but haven’t had any issues with either of them

I’ve only had a few issues with tracking and I have 100’s of orders through them.

Each time the disputes were eventually paid out.

Careful, TCB has denied over $600 worth of cash back for me over just the past 6 months. They claim it’s the retailer network that is denying the claims but they don’t provide proof and simply point the finger. I provided video evidence of myself clearing cookies, turning off all browser extensions, empty carts, you name it. Denied. Denied. Denied.

Seems more like a scam to me. Never had a problem with BeFrugal, RebatesMe, Ratuken and many others.

I use TCB as a last resort, and will gladly take a lesser payout from other companies that have a higher success rate of tracking correctly.

I see the 5500 point Chase UR offer in addition to the $75 Topcashback offer and also the Amex $25 off $50 offer.

I’m seeing a lot of issues with Topcashback’s offer in the comments, (not tracking, slow payout, wrong payment amount, etc)

Would it be a safer bet to go with the Chase point offer instead of Topcashback despite it being a lower payout? I would stack it with my Amex offer as well.

You only need to value UR at $0.0136 for it to be as good, which is actually fairly conservative with transfer partners

I think the question is if it’s “safer” ie will actually track, get paid out, etc. And if doesn’t track, whether can appeal successfully

That’s my question too. I’m inclined to go for Chase portal but actually hve never used it myself

If it doesn’t track, forget about it. TCB never pays out when that happens.

Did a 90 ref bonus on june 2023 and it paid out at 15 and tcb is still “researching”. Did a 60 ref bonus 2 months ago and was paid out at 50. Data point for anyone trying to do twice.

Blue Apron purchase from Jan 01 just updated to “confirmed.” Looks like another 7 weeks before payable. So possibly May. 😒
