Our Verdict

The restaurant.com gift card is kind of an insult as they are basically worthless. Lyft & movie credits might be useful to some and trees are always great! Feel free to give/trade away anything you don’t want. Please don’t beg or ask for freebies in the comments.

  • Something was screwed up with the restaurants.com site/promo code last night, for me at least. It let me re-add the promo code to my account and redeem it over and over again. I got almost $500 worth of certificates between my wife's' and my promo codes. They're all still showing valid in my account. We'll see if they stay that way...

      • Yeah, there are a couple places we do actually eat out at in our area on there. Not our favorite places but a discount is still a discount. These certificates never expire either so even though you can only use one certificate per visit it's not like we need to worry about making sure we use them in time like a Groupon or whatever.

  • The Vudu rental only covers cost for SD, which is basically unwatchable on modern day big screen TVs. Need to fork out additional money for the HD version, which is probably why Vudu agreed to this deal in the first place.
