The Fine Print
- Visa personal cards are not eligible.
- To be eligible for the promotional Plastiq fee, all 3 payments must be scheduled by May 31, 2018, 11:59 p.m. ET and must be part of a recurring series. The first three payments in the series must be delivered by July 31, 2018, 11:59 p.m. ET
- Promotional fee will only apply to the first three payments.

Our Verdict
1.75% is an excellent rate in any case, and especially so if you have a CIP card. Considering setting up payment for your mortgage, rent, or any other recurring bill, just mark down to cancel it in three months if you don’t want it at the regular 2.5% rate.
While this offer is limited to the first three payments, they do allow using the promo on multiple bill, so you should be able to can get the 1.75% rate on multiple sets of three payments, e.g. a series of three mortgage payments and a series of three car payments. Remember that not all payment methods work for all payment types, for example, you can’t pay your mortgage with an Amex, but you can pay your rent and taxes with Amex.

hey this promo is not showing up for me online, i clicked ur link and sign up, then i added my card and fill out the mail info for the check but now i am getting this info with fees of 2.5% and also when i put 1 time payment from my amEX of 500 usd it says fee is 12usd

Is it possible to change the payment method i.e. pay with different cards each month?
I usually use it for rent payment towards MSR to get the bonuses.
Yes, i do that all the time, create a schedule, after the first payment change the credit card attached to that schedule, that would do it.
It’s worth noting Plastiq’s policy re: promotional rates for scheduled payments. If you change anything about a series of scheduled payments that were scheduled as part of a promotion, you lose the promotional rate and it reverts to the standard fee. Schedule as part of a promotion yes but MarcoPolo didn’t mention anything about promotion, paying rent and bills at full rate (2.5%), you can change credit card every month if you want to, that is what i do.
I received a different targeted offer that’s not as good, but an offer nonetheless.

I received this email 2 days ago but totally forgot about it, see this post and went to my Plastiq account, deleted all my payments and as soon as i recreated again the discount was added to all of them without issues, also i noticed that my email offer says 1.75% as DoC posted but for some reason is using 1.7% and not 1.75% discount, has anyone noticed this?
How does one get targeted for Plastiq offers? I’ve made 6 rent payments through Plastiq now and have never received a targeted offer.
Started using Plastiq in 2014 with the 1.5% MC offer and this is the first discount offer i received so don’t feel bad, i pay every month using plastiq around 2k.
Friendly reminder that the 2% for 6 months offer for new users is still there, and probably better value; the discount is “3%” total (0.5% discount for 6 months), this offer is just “2.25%”.

Right, Visa doesn’t work for mortgages.
After Citi ATT 3x was neutered, I felt broken up with Plastiq forever….
