- Set up and start a monthly recurring transfer of at least $50 within 30 days of opening your account.

The Fine Print
- This unique offer is only available to select Ally Bank customers. Only the original email recipient is eligible and this offer cannot be transferred or shared. We’re all about playing fair, so if we believe you’re trying to game or abuse this offer, you won’t be allowed to participate in this offer or any future offers.
- You must open your eligible account between 01/19/2023 and 02/22/2023 and set up and make a $50 minimum monthly recurring transfer from any bank within 30 days of account opening and complete at least three consecutive monthly transfers by 05/23/2023.
- Your new eligible Ally Invest account must be open and in good standing at the time of the bonus payout to receive your bonus by 06/15/2023, to be paid directly to an Ally Invest Self-Directed Trading account or Robo Portfolio account you own. If you open more than one Ally Invest Self-Directed Trading account or Robo Portfolio, Ally Invest will pick an account to fulfill. You will receive an email with your bonus details closer to bonus payout.
- We’ll treat the bonus as interest for tax reporting purposes. You should talk to your tax advisor about potential impacts to your 2024 tax liability.
Our Verdict
Pretty easy offer to complete with three $50 deposits.A lot of people sent this in (thanks all!), and some have noted the fine print which indicates it’s a targeted offer. We’ve seen a similar offer in the past, I believe there have been better bonuses in the past as well. You can also get $75 in fees refunded, more info in this comment.
Do not share your links in the comments.
This account also offers $75 for any fees you MAY incur when transferring $2500 in via ACATS within your first 90 days. In fact the reimbursement form does not actually ask if/what you paid to transfer in.

I was able to successfully transfer in from Fidelity (free) and received the reimbursement within 2 business days after requesting.
Form: https://live.invest.ally.com/acats-fee/form
Did you transfer stock or cash? Wondering if cash would qualify
I just transferred $2500 in cash.
Thank you Bockrr It worked and I got the $75 bonus as well. William Charles easy to do ACAT cash bonus that Bockrr mentioned should be up there as well and maybe reposted. Did 2.5K ACAT partial from Bloom savings last week of Feb and once it posted, waited a couple days and filled the form for the 75 bonus. The bonus posted exactly a week later. I was able to ACH transfer out the 2500 cash from Ally through the previously linked bank account immediately after bonus posted. So at most you lose 15 days of interest in transit on the 2.5K. I did leave the 75 bonus plus a little bit just to be safe.
We try to stick to bonuses of $100+
Understood; this could still be a $175 bonus if it is considered along with the 100 bonus that is what this thread is about. The point is people who are doing the 100 bonus may as well get the extra $75 which is a public offer.
Ah that makes sense, let me look into it!
I have a checking account will Ally, will they pull chex or ews if I open this invest account??
No Chex pull for opening Ally Invest. Haven’t checked my EWS, but I doubt Ally would pull EWS for opening an investment account. Redhorns
Anyone having issues transferring funds out of Ally Invest several weeks after receiving the bonus? Sold my shares, waited for settlement, and attempted to transfer out of Invest and into my Ally checking account. Couple days went by and nothing happened. Saw comments below about leaving $10, my transfer left ~50 in the account. Nothing shows up in scheduled activity, transfer history, etc. Did receive the email confirmations though with the correct start dates.
Not sure if outgoing transfers require a larger amount to be left in the account. Tried with a smaller dollar amounts (leaving over 1k) and the transfers deducted the amount the next morning. Bit of an annoying process getting funds out
1/9 – Opened account, targeted in app
1/11 – 1st auto transfer posted
2/13 – 2nd auto transfer posted
3/12 – 3rd auto transfer posted
3/13 – $100 Bonus posted
I was also restricted about a day after opening the account. I had already set up my auto transfers, and at least they continued to work. This was the first of 3 brokerages that restricted me almost immediately until they could verify my identity. Seems they are doing the reverse of banks and opening accounts before verifying identity, pretty stupid if you ask me. Also, minor annoyance but Ally removed my account nickname so I had to call again to get it changed back from “N/A.” Bonus paid out very fast though, so all in all it was worth the hassle.
Received my $100 today.
Looks like they aren’t being strict about the original recurring transfer processing successfully for 3 successive months
12/28/23 – targeted email received
12/30/23 – opened account
1/2/24 – set up recurring transfer, first transfer processed
2/2/24 – forgot to transfer another $51 into Ally Savings for the auto transfer (been storing liquid savings in MMFs holding Treasurys), 2nd transfer failed on original recurring transfer
2/2/24 – set up new recurring transfer, processed
3/4/24 – 2nd new auto transfer, 3rd overall
3/7/24 – $100 bonus posted
I received my $100 bonus on 3/1 and was notified of it by email as well. I am an existing checking customer from the GET200 offer.
11/20/23 – Received targeted email about $100 invest bonus offer
12/22/23 – Opened Self-Directed Trading account through targeted email
12/23/23 – First $50 recurring transfer posted from linked external checking account
1/23/24 – Second $50 recurring transfer posted
2/22/24 – Third $50 recurring transfer posted
3/1/24 – $100 bonus posted, email notification received
Sometime between the second and third transfer posting, my account was restricted, which I wasn’t informed of until I called in to find out why I could not access my account information online. They just wanted me to confirm some of my personal information (name, mailing address, birth date and last 4 of social), and answer 3 questions from a government database.
My account was unlocked a day or two later, and my recurring transfers and bonus posting were obviously not affected by this. I have not withdrawn any of the funds (all left as cash), nor cancelled my recurring transfers yet, but plan to before the next recurring monthly transfer date (3/22/24).
I already got bonuses how long until I can withdraw?
Last automated transfer completed in late Feb, $100 payout (“crossover promo”) paid out Feb 29. Will probably leave some amount in VTI or similar and decide if I want to close near the end of the year. Pretty easy $175.
Targeted Opened on 12/12/23
Last monthly auto transfer hit 2/22/24
$100 Bonus posted 2/29
I was targeted by this but when I try to sign up through the site via the email link I eventually get “Something’s not quite right.
Ally.com isn’t available now. Try back later or call us anytime.”
I’d be a lot cooler if they made it easier to give me their money.
