[Expired][Targeted] Amazon: Use One Chase Ultimate Rewards Points & Get $15 Off $60 With Promo Code URHOLIDAY [Works On Giftcards]

Update 06/11/18: Reposting as deal is showing up for people who weren’t able to get it before

Reposting as there is now a direct link to the offer. If you’re not seeing the promotion, it means your account is not targeted. Hat tip to reader Ian.

The Offer

Direct link to offer (our affiliate link here and below)

  • Amazon is offering $15 off $60 when you use at least one Chase Ultimate Rewards point and enter the promo code URHOLIDAY.
    • Here’s how to go about doing this deal:
      1. Link your Chase Ultimate Rewards account to your Amazon account if you haven’t already
      2. Add $60 or more of eligible products shipped and sold by Amazon to your shopping cart
      3. Proceed to checkout & select your Chase Rewards Card as your payment method
      4. Select the amount of Ultimate Rewards Points you’d like to use for the purchase (must use points for at least $.01 of the purchase)
      5. Up to a $15 discount off $60 will be automatically applied at checkout

The Fine Print

  • Offer is valid until March 15, 2018 June 15th, 2018 or until 53,333 promotion codes have been used, whichever occurs first.
  • Add eligible products to your shopping cart.
  • Under “Payment method” select your eligible Chase card and redeem Ultimate Rewards points for at least a portion of your order.
  • Enter the promo code URHOLIDAY in the box provided on the checkout page, then click “Apply.”
  • $15 of savings will be reflected on the final order checkout page.
  • See full terms and conditions
  • Redeem Your Chase Ultimate Rewards Points to Pay at Amazon.com
  • To “Get Started,” just link your eligible Chase credit card to your Amazon account and start shopping.

Our Verdict

The deal is working for a lot of people, but not everybody unfortunately. You can sometimes get the offer added by chatting with Amazon, but YMMV.  It won’t work on Amazon branded gift cards, but it will work on third party gift cards. Worth buying something now in case it gets used up (53,333 max redemptions). Below are some popular gift cards Amazon offers (note these contain our affiliate links):

There is also a similar offer from American Express, but that offers $30 off $60+. Don’t forget to try and stack it with other Amazon deals found here.

Small update: Seems like gift cards aren’t working for some people, but other items sold and shipped by Amazon are. Seems that some gift cards are sold by ACI gift cards ‘An Amazon Company’ rather than Amazon directly. Others are getting these cards fine, so looks like it’s just targeted.

Did not work for me despite having met all the criteria. I suspect it is either TARGETED or has reached it limits.

Did not work for me. I appreciate the notification, though!

Didn’t work for me. I tried two different UR cards on both mine and my wife’s account. Tried with multiple shipped and sold from Amazon products. Perhaps the 6,666 total use limit has been reached?

Followed the directions, the promo code only applies to items sold & shipped by Amazon.com. It didn’t work for the third party gift card I was hoping to get at a discount

Missing the most important caveat, as reported on SD:

“Offer is not available to customers that have a billing address outside the U.S. or who have redeemed Chase Ultimate Rewards points at Amazon.com within the prior 24 months.”

The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.

Were you trying to buy something shipped from and sold by Amazon.com?

Yes. And I’ve tried amazon products as well as gift cards sold by amazon like Safeway, Albertson, Subway and none of them work.

I’m getting the same error above and I added both the safeway ($60) and whole foods ($100) gift cards linked in the article.

IT’S BACK!
1. Offer is valid until June 15, 2018 or until 6,666 promotion codes have been used, whichever occurs first.

Yes, @paz said it “Expired on 3/15 or “while supplies last”.” and there were no uses of it reported after that until it came back last week.

This promotion was pretty bad. Was targeted, added $60 to cart, used UR points…stated it was not valid. Chatted in to support, they bounced around for 45 minutes, and stated they were unable to find the promotion. Wound up having to directly email Amazon CEO Jeff Bezo’s to get this thing applied. Not worth the effort

What’s his email?

Google ‘Jeff Bezos email’, it’s been well-known for years. Just a special team of customer service reps, not actually Jeff himself, though.
