- Annual fee of $195 not waived first year
- Card earns at the following rates:
- 2x miles on all purchases made directly with Delta
- 1x miles on all other purchases
- Receive another 10,000 MQM after you spend $25,000 or more within a calendar year and an additional 10,000 MQM when you spend $50,000 or more within a calendar year for a total of 20,000 MQM (plus the sign up bonus)
- No foreign transaction fees
- Receive a Domestic Main Cabin round-trip companion certificate each year upon renewal of your Card (Payment of the government imposed taxes and fees of no more than $75 for roundtrip domestic flights (for itineraries with up to four flight segments) is required)
Our Verdict

I took this offer, upgraded from the blue card. 250k points is more than the AF, and you don't open a new line of credit. I'm trying to get under 5/25, so upgrades are all I can do for now.

I'm considering this, as when I try to apply they tell me I'm not eligible for welcome bonus due to my history, etc. with them... might as well get something.
Not something I'd think twice about, but I'm certain someone out there was suckered and took the upgrade or was a small spender in need of a quick 25k to bring their travel agenda to reality.
This might be the worst offer to date.

The terms don't seem to exclude current or past holders of the Delta Platinum card from receiving the miles, but maybe I missed it?

Did it and did not find any mention of welcome offer being withheld for previous card holders...so this looks like a NLL offer. Could someone else second check me please?
