- Some American Express Serve customers are being offered a bonus of $50 when you receive two direct deposits of $250+
The Fine Print
- To receive a $50 Account credit on the American Express Serve Card, you must successfully enroll in Direct Deposit and receive at least two (2) minimum qualifying Direct Deposits of $250 or more into your Serve Account referenced above between October 15, 2020 and January 31, 2021, 11:59PM ET.
- It may take up to two (2) pay cycles after you enroll for your Direct Deposits to begin.
- A qualifying Direct Deposit is defined as a recurring Direct Deposit of a paycheck or other regular monthly income electronically added by a payor into your Serve Account.
- Transfers and loads from other funding sources (including a tax refund or via Receive Money, debit card, cash, bank account) are not considered qualifying Direct Deposits.
- Account credit will be posted within thirty (30) days of your second qualified Direct Deposit as defined here in these terms.
- Limit one (1) $50 credit per customer.
- Offer subject to change or cancellation at any time.

As others reported, Wells Fargo triggered the bonus for me.
Thanks for the DP. When you added your Serve account as a bank for transfers in you Wells Fargo account, you didn't have a problem when Wells Fargo tried to pull the trial deposits back out from Serve (since Serve doesn't allow ACH pull)?
Now that you mention it, I don’t think Wells Fargo did pull out the trial deposits. I was never contacted by WF or did I have any issues confirming the account or transferring money (as of November 2020).

Both Marcus and Santander work to trigger the $50 promotion. Marcus does not pull back trial deposits and Santander doesn't use them. These are also a great way to load Serve as Serve works for a lot of DDs to other banks.
Did you get the $50 promotion already? How long after the second deposit did the bonus post? I am waiting on my second deposit to come in this tuesday and figured it will take a week or two for the bonus to post.

Anyone having trouble "DD" $250 from Discover, only to Serve, after verifying trial deposits? It always fails at the last step (confirmation).
check your external accounts. i have so many linked accts, but i have an acct named "AMERICAN EXPRESS CENTURION BANK" that's has a status of "SUSPENDED" because they couldn't automatically take out the trial deposits. i have a few accts like that. be careful w the ppd accts and discover. gadget said that they closed his acct iirc lol
The only targeted offer I ever got on Serve is when they shut me down last year.
