My BBP has the following offer : Spend $1,250 or more (in a single transaction) and earn 2,500 MR points. Up to 3 times.
Me too!
Even at a generous valuation for rewards points this is stingy.
No luck on 4 cards. Amex offers have been terrible this year.
Your right, the offers have been real terrible.
No luck here on my Amex cards.
No thank you, Amex.
I have the $25/$500 non-Amazon offer that others have mentioned, haven’t used it yet though. Might pay some insurance premiums.

Got it on my blue business plus. A meh offer for me. 1000 MR points + $25 back offer + standard 2x points on $500 works out to be 10% if I value MR at 1.25c per point. The thing is I can get amazon gc at 9.5% without the $500 minimum restriction already.
How do you get 9.5% for amazon gc?
Chase Ink + Chase Sapphire Reserve
so I get the 5x for Ink Cash, but how are you valuing the Reserve to get to 9.5?
Terrible offer. If you buy a lot on Amazon, you already likely have the Amazon Prime Store Card that gives you 5% off all Amazon Prime-eligible items. If you bought $500 worth of such items, that is $25 off –– more than the $10% + 1 MR per dollar (500 points = $5-10) by using an affiliated Amex.
If it’s a BBP, you’re getting 2x MR + 2x MR (1000MR for $500 Spend). On my BBP, I also have $25 back on $500 anywhere that stacks. I’ll value 4MR/$ over 5% off any day. (4MR + $25 back) even more so.
Or buy Amazon GCs from Staples on CIC for 5 UR/$ and pool with CSR for at least 7.5% value.
Chop up that Prime Store Card.
Some of us already maxed our our BBP, as you can only get 2x up to 50k
A note on this, Amazon will sometimes separate orders and their respective charges. So you can buy 5 items that total $500 but it can get separated into smaller charges.
I do not follow. Why are you getting 4 MR/$? Isn’t the earning rate on BBP 2MR/$ and there are no special categories?
Regardless, I do not have the BBP
Amazon is ALWAYS 2% on spent. Just for simple debit card reload can get you 2%.
Personally, Amazon is almost 10% off spent, for most of the time For examples, Amex is running 10% back @ lowes up to $500 spent. I have this offer across most of my authorized user cards.
I got Spend $2,000+ anywhere, get 1,000 Membership Rewards® points. Up to 3 times
I have offer on Biz cards for 2500 points after spending $1250. Can do 3 times.
