[Targeted] AmEx Offer: Purchase $50 In Nike eGiftcards, Get $10 Back (Small Profit)

The Offer

  • Get a one-time $10 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $50+ on E-Gift Cards in one or more transactions online at Giftcards.Nike.com by 6/5/2017.

The Fine Print

  • Valid until 6/5/2017
  • Valid on egiftcards only

Our Verdict

Current best resale rate for eGiftcards is 80.5%, so you’re making a very slight profit per card. According to the FM lab purchasing gift cards through a portal won’t earn cashback/miles, but it’s always worth trying just in case you get lucky. This deal is really only worth doing if you have access to better than public resale rates on Nike gift cards.

I had this offer on two accounts/cards. Coded as Jifiti Nike Promo NOT Jifiti Nike Gifting and I didn’t get the credit. AMEX is doing a $10 complimentary credit on one card, but not the other.

Others are having this issue as well. I suspect there’ll be a batch process of all the credits at some later date. You might even end up with double credits, then. 😉

Bought it at Giftcards.Nike.com. Transaction went through, but did not get the AMEX offer success email.

Anyone else have this problem?

Nope, worked like normal for me. Confirm right away. Don’t try to go to Nike.com and then to gift cards. This offer is from a different company.

The transaction showed up as “JIFITI NIKE GIFTING”, is that what you guys got?

Thanks! Glad to know I didn’t screw up.

I didn’t get the congratulation email, and the “JITIFI” thing looks weird.

My first $50 e-gift card purchase at giftcards.nike.com this morning did NOT trigger the Amex Offer email, either.

However, I did receive the Amex Offer confirmation email for both of the next two purchases (using different AmEx cards) made at around 5pm Pacific time.

I had this problem on 2/8 cards. Most came through within a couple of minutes.

Any idea if this triggers the cashback portals? Topcashback has 12% going for Nike.

Sorry about that; missed it in the post and also the logic that it could become 12%+12% cashback. Once on buying the GC and once again for buying actual gear on nike.com 🙂 That would give over 50% discount as cashback is on the Selling Price.

Buying through the Discover Nike GC did trigger topcashback for me.

I had this offer on 8 cards. I had problems with 2 orders. I did not receive receipts or the gift cards after 4 hrs. The other 6 happened within 30 minutes. Has anyone else had problems with multiple orders?

I received an email back from their customer service. They claim this is limited to one transaction and multiple orders by different cards will be flagged by their system.

It most certainly doesn’t trigger at Nike.com, I learned the hard way

This might not trigger at Nike.com
