  • I read elsewhere that Paypal when used to purchase things is not considered online, yet the email I received halfway through the month of my offer indicated that three Paypal payments counted as online.

However, I haven't received the 250K points for the 4 period which ended 9/14.

    Does Paypal count?

    • its always counted for me. But I also make sure it's actual retailer and also not anything on their long exemption list for this type of bonus.

  • Got $30 for $500 spending after getting 250,000 points for 1k spending four months in a row. Honestly, I feel liberated. Gas, Electric, Internet and cell phone bills are all prepaid at least until next year.

    • I never got more than $30-50 for $500-1000 spend. Actually, I've never gotten any SYW point offer before. This will be a unicorn for me. I wonder if it helps to just stop using the card for a while or how they determine who gets what offer?

    • You don't redeem for statement credit.
      You redeem for gift cards.
Walmart, Amazon, Target gift cards are available.
And even VISA gift cards but these have 6-months expiration and can be difficult to use.

      • Those short-term Visa GCs can be a pain you're right. But they are actually discounted at some places. I use them once or twice at Wal-mart until they are under $10 or so, check the balance online, and then drain them to the penny via an Amazon reload.

  • I got the usual $70/1000 this month. I wonder how I can get the points offer instead. I had a few this year, but not anymore

  • This is one of the best spending offers I've ever seen for this card from what I can remember. I received an offer of spend $750 online get 200,000 points.
