Our Verdict
Basically an extra 2 points per $1 spent if you spend exactly $5,000. Keep in mind the card normally earns at the following rates:
- 3 points for every dollar spent on grocery stores airline, hotel, taxi, limousine, rental car, train, bus, gas, restaurant, fast food and takeout food dining establishment purchases
- 1 point for every dollar spent on all other purchases
If you don’t currently have this card then keep in mind there is a current 75,000 sign up bonus. Although obviously you wouldn’t get this offer.

I received the bonus points on last week of February. It’s showed in promotion bonus tab in CNB rewards website for February month earnings
Will, this makes sense only if AU airline can also be easily triggered. The DPs in your linked post only mention primary triggered by gc and no confirmation on gc triggering the credit for AU. Can anyone confirm that gc trigger the credit for AU as well?
Worked fine last year for me
I received the offer in the postal mail. Decent deal points to redeem for a visa gc are now 6500pts for $50 makes 1 pt is worth about .77. if spent $5K For dining and travel you would get 5 pts per $ approx 3.9% if used to get visa GC.
3x overall and 5x at like everything. Pretty great
