[Targeted] Link 3 Subscriptions To Paypal and Get $50

The Offer

Check your Paypal account or debit card for the following offer:

  • Get $50 when you link 3 subscriptions with Paypal.

Look for email subject: Link subscriptions. Get $50 cash back.

Our Verdict

This seems like an easy-ish $50 win. Thanks to reader PB and reader TDD for sending this in.

One appears to be a cashback deal linked to a regular Paypal account. The other needs Paypal debit card payment. I’m not sure which subscriptions allow paying with Paypal, but probably some streaming services do and possibly some cell phone or internet plans. Let us know if you find this offer and how you’re using it.

Readers mention a few cheap subscriptions, if you don’t have organic:

  • MailChimp $1
  • Paramount $1 or $.99 or whatever
  • Washington Post $2
  • any Patreon subscription for $1
  • NYT $4
  • LA Times $1
  • Netflix

  • Can someone explain the cancellation process? Do you do it in PayPal? If yes, under which section?

    • You do it in whatever app/site you did the subscription in. So I did mail chimp and I cancelled on their site.

  • Anyone sitting on the fence please do this, it was way too easy. I did 4 for different players within my household. Same address.

  • 07/09: Received targeted email.
07/18: Signed up for Patreon, Mailchimp, and Gopuff ($1, $1.07, and $0.99, respectively)
07/20: Received "1 down, 2 to go" and "1 payment left" emails in quick succession.
07/21: Received "You earned $50 cash back!" email, and 5,000 points have already been deposited. Subscriptions canceled already.

  • I did not receive this offer, but an offer for "earn 1000 pt on your 1st google purchase of $3+". I made a credit purchase for google voice but it did not trigger the bonus. Any ideas on what counts towards "google purchase"?

    • used the same link of P1 on P2, it worked for P2 as well (even though P2 didnt get this offer directly).

      • @guest_2099595 Did the point show up in Paypal? I received the email saying 1000 points on the way after making the google purchase, but then the offer in Paypal showed as expired a few minutes after the purchase, then it disappeared the next day. The points haven't showed up yet.

      • Thanks for the tips! It only said "google purchase" in the offer I received, but you were right google play purchase worked. I purchased an ebook from google and received the email confirmation of 1000 points on the way.

  • Did this with Patreon ($1), Washington Post (Student Discount - $1 [I used a regular gmail]), and MailChimp ($1). For those wondering, I canceled all of them IMMEDIATELY after paying. Meaning, I paid Patreon first, cancelled, then bought MailChimp, then cancelled and repeated. This afternoon (two days after doing the offer), I received emails counting down how many more subscriptions I needed to buy to unlock the offer. It stopped at "2 subscriptions down, one more to go." And when I went to PayPal, 5000 points were in my pending. If you're doubting whether it'll work or not, if the subscription you paid for disappears from the list to choose from, you're good to go. Good luck.

  • I see a few people mention a list that Paypal has of subscriptions. I can't find the list. Any pointers?

  • 7/18: Activated offer and Did 1$ on Patreon, 1$ on Deviant Art, 1$ on MailChimp. No Update from paypal yet. Will post the updates here

    • Got a mail from PayPal informing 1 down, 2 to go. Opened the app and clicked on the offer banner - it disappeared immediately from the app. Went to the rewards section to check - 5000 points pending.

  • Does it show pending write away after you link the 3 subscriptions ? Or does it take 1 or 2 days to reflect it ? I did all 3 about 30 mins ago but I haven't seen anything show up in the Paypal app.

  • 7/15/25: Targeted; purchased $1 subscriptions to individual creators at DeviantArt & Patreon (just searched until I found someone with $1 options), and also MailChimp. These 3 options immediately disappeared from Paypal's list of subscriptions once I'd paid.
7/17/25: Received emails from Paypal "1 payment down, 2 to go." and "1 payment left. It's go time." within minutes of each other.
7/18/25: Received email from Paypal "You earned $50 cash back!" and redeemed to my account.

Very easy, nice little support to individuals. Canceled all subscriptions already.

  • Can’t believe how fast this paid out. Set up the 3 subscriptions on Tuesday. Points went pending on Thursday. Points were available to convert to cash today (Friday).
