I had an issue where I added a new Mastercard (Citi AA) and it wasn’t giving me the 1% processing fee. For my already added Mastercard it was giving me the 1% though. I spoke with their support and complained enough to get 1000 FFDs

the email Plastiq sent us didn’t specify new recipients… will this appear at some point in the transaction?

Unless you got a different email from the one I forwarded DoC, it does say so. The conditions DoC listed are verbatim from the email I got:

Dear Won,
To celebrate Memorial day, we’d like to make you an exclusive offer. Make a one-time payment of $10,000 or less to a new recipient with your US-issued Mastercard and get a 1.0% Plastiq fee.
Here’s how it works:
1. Set up a payment for a recipient/vendor you haven’t successfully paid before
2. Enter a payment amount up to a maximum of $10,000
3. Submit or schedule a one-time payment using a US-issued Mastercard
4. On the payment review page, make sure your payment is scheduled to be processed before 11:59 PM EST on May 31, 2019.
5. Note- click the link to see how you can view the processing date before submission.

Some, like myself, received a different offer about a week ago. No mention of new/existing recipient. I plan on making some heavy car payments:
“We noticed that you haven’t used a Mastercard recently to make your payments, so we’d like to make you a special offer.
Schedule three payments in a row with a Mastercard (up to $2,000 each) and benefit from a low 1.0% Plastiq fee – up to a $90 value.”

Yeah, for your promotion, it probably doesn’t matter if it’s a new recipient or not, which is convenient. For this one, it is specied, so I’m assuming you do need to pay someone new.

Do you have to do the entire $10,000 payment in one go?
IOW can I schedule multiple rent payments totalling $10,000 ?
