United Airlines sent out e-mails to some loyalty members earlier today/yesterday stating that their balance had decreased due to a recent redemption, this lead some customers to believe that their accounts had unauthorized access. United has just sent out another round of e-mails saying that the first round of e-mails was sent out in error and no redemption has occurred.

They sent that erroneous email to me yesterday ~6pm, so it wasn’t just this morning. Still took them until today to send out the ‘whoops’ email though.
