BECU sucks. They are inquiry sensitive and they never let you know before its too late. Their customer service ppl were not very knowledgeable. I honestly think this is a very overhyped CU.

This CU sucks!! They use crappy chexsystem and they denied me of course even though i have perfect score and never in debt etc. CU and banks that use chexsystem are no good to me. And please… $4 a month up to $1000 that’s a good laugh.

Good laugh indeed! But you applied?

Interesting.

I’ve been banking with them for years. Absolutely fantastic CU. It’s my “base” financial institution, and has been for almost 20 years.

Rates are around 6% now, used to be close to 8% a while back.

I’ve been a member for many years and love BECU! This isn’t something new though, they have always offered a higher rate on the first $500 in checking and savings. Infact it use to be higher.
