  • got an instant cancellation, "we've canceled the items shown below because we couldn't verify some or all of your payment information", oh well

    • Therein the madness in our brave-new-world of e-commerce. You'd think that in this modern high tech world, they'd invite you to contact them, to help them verify that you're an honest, real, credit-worthy customer.... But nooooo, that's so 20th century. Now, you're presumed to be a criminal, assumed to be guilty of something, and not deserving of redress, respect, or recompense.

  • I ordered one $50 and one $25 card and the order got automatically cancelled. Does anyone have the same problem? Also, I could not find these two eGCs through Walmart search except the links mentioned in this post.

    • Yep, just ordered and received email stating these are on backorder. Email said they will be cancelled automatically if more stock doesn't come in.

      You can find the GCs on the Walmart website by entering the Walmart # from the 2 links above in the search bar.

      • The email I received states that they cancelled the order because they couldn't verify some or all of my payment information and asks me to be sure my billing address, phone number and credit card information are correct and current. I double checked and there is no problem for those information and the order transaction is already shown in my amex account in pending status.

        • Mine was canceled tonight as well. Wonder why, considering they are still listing these as for sale.

  • If you get a $50 and a $25 card, it ends up being $57.50 for $75 worth of GCs for a ~23% discount. Instant AmEx confirmation here.

  • FYI these things are a PITA to use with the app. You can't use partial gift cards in the app, you have to select "pay in store", and almost every time I've had an employee try to use an e-gift card they've had issues.
