We Got Unbanned From Amazon’s Affiliate Program

Earlier this month we let readers know that we were banned from Amazon’s affiliate program. I’m pleased to announce that we’ve been unbanned and previous earnings have been reinstated as well. Before the conspiracy theories kick in (e.g they banned you specifically for Prime day), I don’t think anything malicious was done here. We still have our earnings from Prime day for example.

I’d like to thank all of the readers that reached out with support, whether it be words or actively contacting Amazon on our behalf. I actually see this as a somewhat positive, I think we were able to prove to some readers that we post certain deals because we find them interesting for readers rather than because we are paid a commission. Obviously some people will still remain skeptical, but there is nothing we can really do about that.

  • Any help how to reach Amazon?

We set up a registry on Amazon, returned 1 item. Placed an order for a replacement using the money from the return. Account locked due to fraudulent gift cards, that they gave us when we returned the item. We called several times, supervisor says to call back in 2 business days. This has been going on for a week now.

  • This is awesome! congratulations! and thank you for the great works on this site.

  • And if you were to post deals just for the commission, who cares? You're providing ridiculously valuable content for free. If a reader isn't interested, they can just keep scrolling.

  • Yay congrats. I always make an effort to use your affiliate links to shop at Amazon!

  • Money grubbing businesses like amazon come and go, but an Institution like The Doctor Of Credit will live on and on!

  • This is great news and congrats on being reinstated. Felt weird making amazon purchases without clicking through your site (LOL)
