Wells Fargo Credit Card Customers: 20% Off Nike Giftcards (Profitable Deal)

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Wells Fargo is currently offering a 20% discount on Nike giftcards:
    • $25 for 2,000 points
    • $50 for 4,000 points
    • $100 for 8,000 points
  • You can also just redeem 100 points and pay the rest in cash

Our Verdict

Best public resale rate is 82.5%, but significantly higher if you have bulk rates available to you. This is a profit of 2.5% + any credit card rewards points you earn (although rates may drop, so keep that in mind). They also have smaller discounts on Bass Pro Shops & Sears.

I got my spouse’s cards to go through with no problem, but never got mine to except for a WF card. Very odd.

do you have to pay the balance on a WF card? I have had 2 cards rejected from other issuers.

I don’t think so. I paid with my Amex card.

No, you don’t. I just made a test purchase of one $50 gift card using 100 points and $39 charged to a Barclays card, and it went through.

Still didn’t have a problem ordering 9 and spending 100 points for each.

This company sucks. I ordered a card and it just never came after 10 days.

They reissued it but that’s a long time to be out on money and without my gear.

Hate WF. They are refusing to give me a $200 bonus on 1K spent on giftcards, so I have to charge a second 1K to collect
