Added my Wells Fargo debit when I saw this post 12/7. Finally got targeted for the $10 offer today. Thanks!
The first time I followed Charles’ direct link, the web page told me that I wasn’t eligible for the offer. But after finding the ad on Amazon.com later…and changing my settings…I clicked on Charles’ direct link a second time and voila…I saw this
“Thanks for choosing Wells Fargo
This credit has already been applied to your Amazon account. Redeem it on qualifying purchases by December 31, 2017”
Thank you Charles.
When I first followed the link, Amazon told me that I was not eligible for the offer. But about an hour later, when I returned to Amazon.com to shop, there was the ad…the ad to earn $10 for switching my 1-click setting to a Wells Fargo card. I accepted it and supposedly earned the credit. I don’t see any way of verifying this as it’s not listed in my Amazon account anywhere. But the trick to earning this offer must lie within internet tracking cookies. So if you want this offer, try clicking on Charles’ direct link…and if you’re not eligible, return to Amazon.com later and see what happens.
This happened to me. You’ll see the promo $10 if you go to checkout and have the WF card selected as payment method.
tried on 3 different accounts…not worked on all 3!!
I suspect it is completely dead as of now!
I have a way to possibly make you eligible when you weren’t before… I do this all the time. I go into each account, if you don’t have more than one, you might want to consider creating a few more. The name on the account is irrelevant to Amazon. As long as the billing address matches the cardholders address your fine. You can then add another shipping address so your order goes where you want it to. Next, you add the card, in this case a Wells Fargo card, to your payment options. Think about it, if they don’t know you have access to a WFc why would they target you? Now that you’ve added the card, you then go to your 1 click settings. Make sure you’ve turned it on, and then pick any other payment source. If you don’t have access to any other payment source, you can add just about anything because your not going to actually use it for payment anyway… just remember to go back and delete it afterward, so that you or another user on the account doesn’t look at it and think “Hey, I forgot about this one” and try to use it.” After that, log out of the account and log back in or try opening it in the app. This has worked for me almost every time I’ve done it… well, gotta go, I’ve got some settings to tend to… if this helps anybody even able to afford one extra gift for a loved one.. it was worth every moment of the time I took to write it… in the end that’s what this blog is all about anyway, right Doc.? Merry Christmas and Love in Christ.
Im banned from WF, so no go for me hehe
Odd. With the Citi ones (and was there a Chase one, once, too?), I’m almost always able to get them on my and my husband’s accounts. Sometimes it takes a lot of clicking and reloading in different apps and browsers, but it usually eventually shows up.
Couldn’t get this no matter what I did.
Sorry, your request for this promotion is not eligible.
won’t work for me either 🙁
