Our Verdict
This offer was reported by agilehumor on Reddit. I found it to work when I use my ordinary ‘cookied’ browser, but not when I go incognito or a non-cookied browser. The referral offer for this card seems to vary as well; some people are seeing 150k/$3k and some people are seeing 135k/$3k. If you can get a referral from a friend with the same 150,000 bonus, that’s obviously a better deal since the friend will get a bonus as well.
Previous best offer was 150,000 points + $100 statement credit. This one isn’t as good, but still higher than the standard 100,000 bonus. As always if you have any questions, read this post about American Express cards first.
Most people aren’t traveling now and won’t find this interesting, though there are a few benefits Amex added to the card due to the situation. Through May 31, you’ll also get an extra 3 months (6 months total) to meet the spend requirement.

i got a offer in snail mail for 175k points with 4k spend
Just got a 150K offer with $2 spend. Avoided the pop up for the first time in maybe 9 months. Just cx'ed a no annual fee Hilton card which must have triggered it.

I suppose it's no better than the two best offers (125k + FN / 150k + $100), but may as well post.
any chance amex would approve 2 credit cards on the same day?
if one earned the ascend's bonus last yr with upgrade from the basic acct, will he/she be qualified for this bonus?
Typically yes. If you have or have had the card you are usually ineligible. Check the fine print first. It's always bolded right at the top if it applies to that card.
doesn't seem that an previous upgrade to ascend will be eligible for the bonus...

I see 130k on the Hilton Website and 125k on the amex website for the same card, any tips to make the 150k offer generate?

I also see a weird 70k/$5k plat offer through the same incognito link. That might be more interesting for those of us who never get a 100k/125k Plat personal offer.
What could you potentially use the points for if traveling won't be a thing for a while. Is their a way to cash them out.
you can use them on Amazon but it's a ridiculously terrible valuation (5point == 1cent) so if you don't wanna use them for hotel stays (usually 2 points == 1 cent for hotel stays, but could be worth up to 10 cents occasionally) you should probably forget about this card.
I am holding this card. No hotel serves congregation breakfast. Social distancing. What is the reason to hold this card? Gold status maybe meaningless. All the "benefits" of this card maybe meaningless.
My wife made the same EXACT points to Amex. They don't give a care. ZERO retention offer. Waive annual fee=no. Upgrade offer to Aspire card with bonus=no. Send bonus for keeping account open=no. So she closed the account since she already has a Hilton basic $0 AF card.
i have no fee hilton card and the aspire card. can't get the bonus if i get upgrade offer to surpass card on the no fee hilton card?
I also have the no fee hilton card and only see an option to upgrade to the $95 fee card without any bonus points.
