I’m not seeing any purchase requirement. It should be possible to download the extension and delete it soonafter, and still be eligible for the bonus.
This offer is showing on some Citi cards. Rewards & Offers > Offers for You and look for the Citi Shop offer.

Weird despite being targeted via email and also in app and installing on chrome and iOS I don’t see any $10 pending anywhere nor did I get an email confirming that $10 is pending
I got the offer on both Citi Custom Cash cards. Enrolled on Chrome and Edge. Just waiting for the statement credit emails...

If I don't see the $10 Citi Shop offer with my Citi credit card offers, does that mean I'm out of luck? I have the Citi Custom Cash & the Citi Costco cards, and neither mentions anything about $10 for signing up for CIti Shop (it just says to enroll/download)
Did you follow the steps that I laid out here: "I then went to “Rewards & Offers” and then “Offers for You” and found the “Citi Shop” offer on 1 of my 4 Citi cards."? If you did that and the offer didn't appear, then you probably weren't targeted for the offer.
If I was you, I would check back every so often and see if you get targeted for the $10 promo.
BTW, I logged in this morning in Edge and the pop-up again didn't re-appear. I decided to bite the bullet and sign up anyway from the "Offers for You" section. I received the confirmation email from Citi < 2 hours after installing the extension in Edge.

To be clear, the $10 offer only appeared in the pop-up that I mentioned in my linked comment. The offer in the "Offers for You" section didn't mention the $10 offer at all.
That's why I didn't sign up yesterday. However, others reported receiving the confirmation email using the steps that I laid out and not receiving the pop-up so that's why I went through with it today.
If you see a "Citi Shop" offer in the "Offers for You" section for 1 of your 2 cards, you should be good to go for the credit.
Worked for me in Safari on the Rewards+ card. Got an email a few hours later.
Got the confirmation email of $10 for rewards+ as well but nothing on simplicity card :(
Isn't it being a little greedy to want the credit on multiple cards?
Didn't get an email, but I was able to see the pending bonus here:
Rewards & offers > Explore all products & offers > select the Citi Shop tab then it should show a pending bonus.
Got this deal on both my personal Citi account and my business account for my AAdvantage business card, installed the extension in Chrome for one and Edge for the other. Easy $20.

Activated this evening and haven’t purchased anything.
Two hours after installing the extension I got an email that the bonus is pending, payable 61-180 days. nice :-D
