    • Use a mobile device
    • Log into your Amazon.com account
    • Navigate around Amazon.com until you see the blue banner, it might help to go to the home page (keep reloading pages and navigating back to the home page until it appears. You might need to do this a lot before it shows, but it’ll eventually show if your current 1 click card is not Citi).
    • Click change your 1 click payment settings
    • Change your payment settings to a Citi credit card and confirm
    • A $10 discount will automatically appear on your next purchase, products must be sold and shipped by Amazon.com and you must pay using your linked Citi credit card

The Fine Print

  • Credit must be used by September 12th, 2015
  • Credit can be used over multiple orders if they are under $10
  • Excludes Gift Cards, Kindle eBooks, instant videos, MP3s, and all other digital downloads and content

Our Verdict

Once completing this deal, I’d recommend changing your one click payment settings to a card other than Citi. That way when this offer comes around again, it’ll be easier for it to show up.

  • Everything I want amazon dont sell they just fullfille the order, how were you guys able to use the credit?
    If I'm reading correctly it needs to be sold and fullfilled by amazon, am I right?

  • Worked for me. Added cart on mobile phone and then loggen onto amazon with my laptop and the offer showed up on my laptop.

  • I was able to sign up for the promo via my Amazon phone app and made a purchase of something $14 sold and shipped by Amazon. There's no pending charge yet on my credit card and I have no $10 Amazon credit. Do I have to wait for it to ship first? I have Prime membership and I have a $200+ Amazon gift card balance already. What gives?

  • FYI - I spent 3 minutes clicking to find the ad, and when i finally got it, it said 'The Card You Entered is Not Valid for this Promotion.' - Its a Sears CitiCard (Platinum) - so I guess Sears cards are no good for this promo.

  • Did this work for anyone using an Android tablet? When did the code you received expire?

  • I have an Android tablet. Would it work with that? Do I need to add a Citi card before or after I look for the banner? Does the $10 credit only appear after a purchase is made? Does the entire purchase need to paid with the Citi card?

  • The set up worked first time, but I could not use it as each time I tried purchasing with 1-click it took from my gift card balance first. Nobody at Amazon could make it work. I tried 5 times with them watching but had to cancel all 5 orders. BUT even though it cancelled they tell me they can see the $10 credit in my account (of course a customer cannot see that), but I have their confirmation in the chat session as proof.

    Also, not that to use the $10 credit it has to be for something sold directly by Amazon, not someone who just sells through them.
