American Express has a program called #amexappreciates and on occasion some Platinum cardholders are sent out a gift card. Normally the gift cards are $100 or $200 to select brands, but today there is a report of a cardholder receiving a $400 gift card to Robert Marc NYC. There are also reports of the usual smaller $100 or $200 cards being sent out to different brands as well. Unfortunately these are all targeted offers and you just need to be lucky enough to be chosen by American Express to be eligible. I’ve never been able to work out how American Express determines who is targeted as sometimes people with little to no spend are targeted and othertimes it’s people who spend $100,000+ monthly.

The Robert Marc NYC gift card is definitely not worth $400. In store only. Full price items only. It doesn't seem like you can buy anything without paying extra.
Are you guys getting this in snail mail? What does envelope look like? I get a lot of promo materials and I wonder if I carelessly tossed my gift cards.

I am waiting for my SSI to be approved after appeal of denial should be approved by the the first of January and this card would really help for Christmas
