Found the deal dead on Amazon last night but signed up for the notification once it is available again. This afternoon got it for $211 tax included after the AMEX 20% offer.
Is the Amazon deal dead? I cannot find the same bundle on Amazon anymore.

They included the gift card to bundle and prevent us to pay with gift card balance.

Third party sellers usually sell the Verizon variant, not the Google variant. The Verizon one doesn't have an unlockable bootloader, unlike Google's.
The link goes to a listing by Google, the manufacturer. That's not third-party.
The 3a XL was in my cart and ready to checkout...then was no longer available in my area. Booo.

Amazon tends to mach deals offered elsewhere. Not when you ask them, they just have a mechanism that'll dynamically adjust prices when competitors drop the price on the same item.
Alternatively B&H Photo has this promo as well, $350 + $100 B&H GC + if you have the payboo card you could save the tax on it.
