The Offer

Direct Link to offer

  • CVS stores are offering $20 in ExtraBucks when you buy $100 Zillions gift cards. Valid 11/24 – 11/30.

Zillions gift cards can be redeemed for Airbnb, Lowe’s, and many others (including Amazon, in some versions).

Our Verdict

Decent savings. Made better with these potential stacks:

  • Cash app 7% back
  • Albert $5 back
  • Rakuten in-store cash back offer of 10% on purchases of up to $50. Note, however, the terms that this doesn’t work on gift cards.
  • Some have mentioned an Ibotta deal as well

  • Purchased $100 Zift Zillions "With Love" version (paid with Amex for min spend) -- has Amazon logo on it and people on SD confirmed it works.

No problem getting $20 rewards -- redeemed fine for $100 Amazon GC online

  • Does this work for all zift zillion or just certain ones? iwent to cvs i see the $20 eb on some but not all zift

  • The weekly ad in my area says that the $20 ExtraBucks offer is for "Bass Pro Shops, GOLFNOW, Foot Locker, PlayStation, Applebee's, Domino's gift cards and other participating brands." A photo in the ad also shows gift cards for Zillions, CVS, and others.

  • CVS bucks aren't really worth $20 when you consider how much their prices are marked up. Realistically it's only $10 unless you coupon to some extreme level. Acme/Safeway has the same deal $15 on $75 GC purchase, which is a much better value (if you buy groceries).

      • I don't find that to be the case.

Buy what is on sale for that week and it doesn't need to be with coupons. I never use coupons but I do use loyalty cards for all the supermarkets.

I find that people who complain about this are not shopping properly.

        • That's the same with the CVS weekly ad. Both operate on a high-low pricing strategy

  • From the zillionsgift website:
"We update our brand assortment regularly to provide the best options for our customers. You may find that we have added or removed a brand from the eGift options on ZillionsGift.com"
I got a Zift card through Shop Your Way points that showed Amazon as the first redemption option, but yesterday Amazon was removed as an option.
Evidently, having the logo on the card does not guarantee you can redeem for that card.

  • These Zillions cards always look so sketchy to me. As a result, I have never purchased them.

Are they legit? Downside to purchasing and using them?

    • Purchased $150 from DoorDash.

      PITA to redeem.

They did not like the email address I wanted to use. I had to use Hotmail account. Crazy stupid.

  • @6 This offer is back for this week and Amazon Zifts are included though the more popular non-Amazon blue zift appeared to not be included. Make sure to buy ones which are yellow tagged with the $20 ECB. I was able to split pay with Albert for an additional $5 back and got the $20 ECB (which in real money worth is like $15 or less, still good deal).
    .

    • Is it just for one variation of Zift? iwent to cvs there were so many Zifts with Amazon.com and I can't tell which works for EB or not. I ask the rep they said all Zift should work but don't want to risk EB not printing

    • Picture in the weekly ad shows the blue Zift in the promo. How did you find out it's not included?

      • It was not tagged. It could be a miss by the store I was at and it may be included as well, but anyway it was not the amazon one.

        • Gotcha. I'll find out later this week when I visit. Waiting for Rakuten to go back up.

      • Albert Neobank Debit card...You pay: monthly fee $17+single $50 DD,
You Get: CVS, Walgreens, BestBuy, Whole Foods, Costco 5 off 34 or 5 off 25 weekly. (+few other other stores as well like 7-11 10/50)

      • Depending on your age and how you were taught in school, you can either ask ChatGPT or use context clues to Google "split pay with Albert"

  • This week it's 15 EB for $75 gift card. Many people reporting it's not working. Have to call and get it manually applied or get an instore manager. Circular lists it so I'm not sure why it isn't working.
