You’ll obviously want to create an account and download the app before it hits 12PM EST. This always sells out quickly, but last year a few readers were able to get this deal. I’d recommend knowing exactly what you want to book beforehand for the best chance. A lot of hotels (including all chain hotels) are excluded. If you can apply the APP15 coupon now then this promo should work. Goodluck to all readers that go for this deal, you’ll need it.

It was a roundtrip flight to Asia. The landing page showed that the flight coupons were already fully claimed when I checked around 12.15 PM EST, unfortunately.

Thank you for the tip on APP15, very easy to understand, as I was able to right away see that only 1 hotel in the area I am looking in, accepts a promo code and is code eligible.

How difficult has this been in years past? Is it gone within 1 - 2 minutes? Most people weren't able to get it even within those 1 - 2 minutes? I'm curious.. I've got a ton of travel coming up. But I need to book soon for it. Not sure if I can chance it for a 1% chance at succeeding in this, maybe if there's a 50% chance it would be worth to wait.
It's not going to be a 50% chance of booking it, more likely 1% or less. I think last year lots of people had success because it wasn't a widely circulated deal unlike in previous years. I haven't seen it advertised much yet, but it's still early
