You’ll obviously want to create an account and download the app before it hits 12PM EST. This always sells out quickly, but last year a few readers were able to get this deal. I’d recommend knowing exactly what you want to book beforehand for the best chance. A lot of hotels (including all chain hotels) are excluded. It was a roundtrip flight to Asia. The landing page showed that the flight coupons were already fully claimed when I checked around 12.15 PM EST, unfortunately.

How difficult has this been in years past? Is it gone within 1 – 2 minutes? Most people weren’t able to get it even within those 1 – 2 minutes? I’m curious.. I’ve got a ton of travel coming up. But I need to book soon for it. Not sure if I can chance it for a 1% chance at succeeding in this, maybe if there’s a 50% chance it would be worth to wait.
It’s not going to be a 50% chance of booking it, more likely 1% or less. I think last year lots of people had success because it wasn’t a widely circulated deal unlike in previous years. I haven’t seen it advertised much yet, but it’s still early
