Update 2/22/21: Reader Jeff sent in an email he got with a $4 coupon; apparently there are two version of this coupon. Same expiration. I believe the $4 version works on $100s and maybe on variable-load cards as well.

The Fine Print
- Valid on in-store purchases only from 2/17/2021 – 3/2/2021 .
- Excludes Visa® & Mastercard® $25,$100, Variable Load and Multipack cards.
- Limit one coupon per customer.
Our Verdict
I believe the $50 cards typically have a $4.95 fee, still ends up costing $1.95. Not the best deal, but still useful if you want to meet some grocery spend, e.g. for CSR PYB.

Once again digital $4.00 coupon worked on $500 vGC with a small grocery item.
Kroger is also closing stores instead of paying workers hazard pay amid the pandemic. Some of us don't have the choice of where to shop, but if you do, you can vote with your dollars.

Getting $0.75 from ~$50 purchase is just 1.5%. I have a 2% flat card.
Aside from that, I don't need 200 fuel points because I have 10% back through AmEx Plat.
