Maldives has announced a few things:
- You’ll no longer need to provide a negative PCR test if you visit at least 14 days after the second dose of your COVID-19 vaccine
- Maldives plans to offer vaccines on arrival (this will be done after the local population has received their first and second doses)
- Maldives had previously announced a Loyalty Program for visitors. We now have details of the new program, it’s called Maldives Border Miles
Maldives Border Miles
This program will have three status tiers:
- Aida, Bronze Tier (500 points to earn)
- Antara, Silver Tier (2,000 points to earn)
- Abaarana, Gold Tier (4,000 points to earn)
You earn points as follows:
- Border crossing: 50 points
- Honeymoon: 30 points
- Wedding anniversaries: 30 points
- Birthdays: 30 points
- Seasonal bonus: 20 points (visit June 1 and August 31)
- Visits on Local occasions: 5 points
- Services obtained from partners: 5 points
Earning points stay so if it’s your honeymoon and birthday you’d earn 60 points for example. Points also never expire so status is based on your lifetime points rather than a calendar year like most programs. You also can’t redeem points for anything, they are just used for calculating your status tier.
The benefits from each status level don’t look that interesting for the most part, just small discounts at select places. Silver does come with fast track immigration (as does gold).

Begone, peasants.
Well I guess i wont be going to the Maldives
Get real. You weren’t going anyway.
Grow a funny bone.
Vaccine tourism takes the next evolutionary step.
Better book a couple of extra days in case you feel sick after the second dose.
HOAX!!
I know you are, but what am I?
If you're traveling to Maldives this summer, please leave your unvaccinated kids behind so I don't have to deal with them on my vacation. Thanks.
Please stay at your home.because there are kids anywhere.thanks.
Karen, If you're traveling to the Maldives can you instead stay home with your petulant attitude?
his name is Harry
Fantastic. Vaccinated and going there this summer. Of all the places to learn of this, DoC. Nice. Thank you, sirs.
Of course you wouldn't hear about it on any world "news" source... there are riots to incite!
Because getting vaccinated could also protect other people from you. Because it's not just about you.
Selfish pieces of shit can't be bothered to ever think of other people. You're a freaking HOAX.
Agree. That's why vaccine is a freaking HOAX! I have strong immune system, why should I worry?
I’ve heard that covid has only caused the death of 3 million people worldwide and 567,000 in the US, so why would I risk a vaccine?
Since there’s low amounts aluminum in the vaccines (also found in our air, food, and water) and can be easily tolerated by our bodies and has been used in vaccines since the 1930s and has been widely studied, I’m not risking a vaccine. I’d rather not take a vaccine and have millions more die. Because if I’m not dead, who cares? Who’s with me?
Yes, that's why personally, I'm waiting at least 10 years for formal FDA approval, before I would even consider taking any sort of vaccine. The human body doesn't need outside medicine to heal itself!
I don't trust those scientists, Big Pharma is always up to something or another. Did you hear about that Johnson and Johnson vaccine? They administered 6 million vaccines and a poor woman died from blood clots and a few others got sick. That's the official story anyways. I bet 10,000 women really died and Bill Gates is just covering up the truth using his permanent backdoor key in Microsoft windows and his connections to Apple Computer. If you have an iPhone, Bill knows exactly what you are up to.
I'll just take my chances with the coronavirus, pretty sure there aren't any reported known long term side effects with Covid-19!
I haven't heard about the aluminum, but here's a little tidbit I'm sure a lot of people aren't aware of.
"You can't sue Pfizer or Moderna if you have severe Covid vaccine side effects. The government likely won't compensate you for damages either. Under the PREP Act, companies like Pfizer and Moderna have total immunity from liability if something unintentionally goes wrong with their vaccines."
Have fun if you ever develop a medical issue, even years later. I'm sure the health insurance companies will just throw their hands in the air and say "Sorry, you're out of luck. It's related to that vaccine you had." They'll try to find any excuse not to pay your claim.
For someone who is averse to aluminum, you sure do have a lot of it on your head.
I know you're trolling, but I'm going to respond seriously, since your comment may or may not get purged later.
Not everyone has access to turmeric pills, fish oil, green tea extract, and essential oils. But even if they did, those things aren't safe to ingest for everyone and don't guarantee any kind of immunity to begin with in either the short- or long-term, or prevent you from infecting other people.
