Huntington Bank have brought back their popular $200 checking promotion, it doesn’t require a direct deposit but it does require $1,000 in regular deposits to be made. To keep things easier and so you can see people’s questions and experiences from the last time this was offered, click here for our last post that has been now updated. People have also received targeted bonuses for $400 for Huntington Bank’s business checking account, but this has to be redeemed in branch.

Where is the new Huntington thread?
Drop us a link to the new because it isn't coming up in searches.
Does the $25 early account closure fee still apply? I can't find it on the account fee disclosure form.

I did this bonus back in March, so my 180 days have finally passed.
Just this morning I was able to close via Huntington's Chat feature. I had already zero'd out the account, so it made it very simple. I plan to open again when I am eligible and there is a nice bonus.
Where do you find Huntingtons chat feature....can't find it on site at all.
Neither can I. Can't seem to send a general secure message either. There's a way to dispute transactions and a "sent messages folder" but no matter where I look on the site (and Google), nothing comes up.
Instead of wasting more time I just drafted an actual letter to drop in the mail. Has worked with other banks.
Wife and I each received the bonus about 5 days after our deposit cleared.
I got 750 for a business account (snail mail coupon with my name on it) in 2015. Wonder if I can get targeted again? Closed this In Feb
Tend to use these bank bonus for my "travel bank" such as hotel stay and airline incidentals
Can I go to a branch to open this checking? I am not a resident in the states mentioned above.
Not sure if out of state residents can apply in branch, check/ask on the main post.
