The Paypal Digital Gifts site was completely offline for the past week, even for those who previously bought gift cards and wanted to view their codes. The site is back up now and previously purchased gift codes can be viewed.
It’s also possible to buy gift cards now from PPDG as well.
As far as buying new gift cards from PPDG goes, I haven’t been able to complete a purchase. Although the gift cards appear available for purchase, both PPDG on eBay and PPDG direct purchase, it errors out after logging in to pay.
It’s possible that purchases will become available starting September 1, since that was the date that PPDG was mentioned as being “on vacation” on eBay.

Had my fridays gift card hacked and still trying to get reimbursed...
Paypal DG works fine for me. Just bought 5 x $50 Toys R Us gift cards for $40 each for $200 total on eBay. Flip to ABC for $200 to break even on sale but profit points, etc.
Did the same, sold out now though. Didn't last long.

Paypal was absolutely hacked. I purchased four itunes codes from them before their website was down. When I checked those codes with Apple support today, they were all redeemed. Please check your gift card!
John,how can we check the balance of itune e-giftcard without redemption? I know Apple support can help customer check balance of physical gc by the letter and number combination located below barcode at the bottom of card.
You can check on it through either online chat or phone call without redemption.
Did they do anything about it?
I contacted both ends and it's literally a basketball match for who is actually giving me the reimbursement code.
Following from above, I contacted them and they said their system is still down or something.
Then they told me they would send an email out to people.
The guy on the phone didn't sound convincing one bit.
I can buy those 15% off iTunes codes on PPDG now.
