Walmart has to be the messiest cobrand partner ever. First they sued Synchrony for breach of contract, then left that partnership. Then they partnered with Capital One, only to sue Capital One for breach of contract and then ended that deal. Then signed this new deal with Synchrony (remember they sued them before) and are now using ‘Spark’ branding despite Capital One (the last card issuer for Walmart) already using Spark branding for business cards. I suspect we won’t see that Spark branding when the cards actually go live and that’s only an internal name but maybe this is a slight against Capital One.

A bit unrelated but I'm planning on buying an apple watch from Walmart the next coming days. Any tips on maximizing my return on this purchase? I'm planning on using $15 off using OnePay, but all the cash back shopping portals exclude apple products from Walmart deals.
If u have Chase Ink, then u can get 5% off on the whole order
..... Again?
am i the only one reading the comments thinking that the people who think that sams+ and walmart+ is worth it for the $150 AF alone are delusional?
Half of us here have walmart+ as a CC benefit. $0 value gained from that AF for wm+.
There's perma offers at sams club for memberships at discount. Swags 50%. Capitaloneshopping will probably offer you a boat to sign up for a membership, and then not track the purchase.
I'm not seeing the value.
"Half of us" have an AmEx plat?
totally agreed. feels worse than the amazon card, which gives you 5x on all amazon purchases with a Prime membership for no AF. absolute weak sauce

ur not seeing the value cuz u dont value WMrt or SClb + CCrd add on. thats all.
if ur able to use this card and know how, then u should. getting this card is late stage advance strategy. its not for CSR influencer n00bs.
I like this one - much better than stuff that was revealed this week. Especially if we get sams plus membership and walmart+ membership too for the rewards+ card as indicated in the reddit post. Can anyone help me figure out what "5x on BK purchases (LTO)" means?
Is BK purchases - Burger King purchases? or something that I am missing
I think it's Burger King (Limited Time O(ffer|nly))
Yeah no.
Pathetic offering.
Any rumors on if they are bring back the 2-liter pop for Sign up bonus? I know it was usually two 2-liters but I’ve been holding out for four 2-liters or maybe a king size candy bar with it.
Hard pass. Let me know when the 5% rewards comes back for simply buying online groceries. In the interim, shopping elsewhere.
Does your Walmart+ and Sam’s Club membership get waved if you have this card? Seems like a no brainer considering the annual fee for this card is about $50 less than a membership for each.
Right I feel like that's what would justify this kind of annual fee
The rumor posted on Reddit says they are - I think William didn't notice and left it out of this article.
I agree.
Don't know what happened to my last post but the rumor says the Rewards+ card includes both Walmart plus and Sam's club plus memberships (not included in this article) which would make it worth it for me.
