  • I didn't see this advertised in the weekly ad (3/17 - 3/23) for my local Staples. Was this some type of flash sale that was advertised through some other channel?

    • I saw this post last night and headed to staples.com and I could see the sale (it mentioned 'today only'). But by the time I got to adding it to my cart and checking out, the offer was gone (just past midnight ET)

  • $50 Southwest gift cards aren't very useful since you can only use 3 per ticket purchase.

    • Have you tried combining three to purchase airfare and then cancelled the flight for Southwest credit? I have not tried myself, but you should be able to get the entire amount stored in your account as a credit which you can then use (along with other gift cards) to purchase a more expensive flight.

  • This won't stack with the Chase offer as the terms read:
Offer not valid on gift cards.

    • You are correct!
Does anyone know of a DP where Chase offer explicitly excluded gift cards before, did it track?

      • I have done walmart.com and bestbuy.com several times that had the same GC exclusion but credited too. There are DP's that Staples.com work on GC purchase but Office depot.com does not work.

      • I have done the quill.com offer several times that had that exclusion and tracked/credited. Each time I expect it not to work 😜

      • I haven't purchased gift cards from Staples.com but there are DPs confirm that GC purchase from Staples.com did trigger the Chase offer. From my experience, Walmart.com and Bestbuy also trigger Chase offer on giftcards. There are DPs on Office depot not trigger Chase offers on GC purchase.

  • will Amex gold office supply credit work for this or will they claw it back when they realize it’s a gift card purchase?
