Our Verdict

Reader Davis lets us know about this deal, and added the following analysis: “Cheapest item is the instant coffee offer at $15, then mark it as a subscription for 20% off and no shipping cost, then use the Swagbucks promo code of Perform10 for another 10% off, no tax for me in California. Must use a card linked with Drop. My Drop credit occurred 8 days after purchase through a ticket submitted yesterday. The Drop part can be completed an infinite amount of times. Easy skipping intermediate offers and easy cancelation process after you get the order/points. Swagbucks went pending immediately following purchase.”

Looks like a nice way to try out this coffee and hopefully make around $5 moneymaker + $15 Drop. You can also continue ordering and getting your coffee cheap/free if the Drop thing continues and pays out properly. Two notes about Drop: 1) Drop has a $25 minimum gift card cashout, so this deal works mainly for someone already using keeping a balance with the Drop app. 2) The terms in Drop say ‘shop in store’, but apparently it’s working for online purchases too.

    • saw that last night, placed another order. No points in Drop. Used the same linked card as last time (had to ticket last time)... what is that with Drop crediting some but not the others, is beyond me...

      • I just did the deal again through InboxDollars for $12 pending immediately for 32 days with my Drop card (it didn't like Discover but Chase was fine). When I've done this deal before with Drop, it takes at most 8 days since it's a card linked offer and it needs to wait for it to post on your statement. I have gotten it quicker like in 4 days I think.

    • you commented on Jan 8 that it did not track for you and you had to submit a ticket... Did you place another order? And if so, what happened with your ticket? TIA

      • You can read my first experience as documented in the Our Verdict section. Then, in early January, I had to submit a Drop ticket. I did it again recently and got the Drop credit without submitting a ticket. I did it a few days ago and am waiting on Drop credit for that, but that's within their processing window.

  • Drop is not tracking at all. They offered one of those flash cashback deals and that hasn't tracked either. Not a good start with this service...

    • No. Purchased on 1/3 with a linked card. Opened a ticket 4 days ago. Today got a response requesting all kind of information , including invoice, in addition to card used (which is , again, linked to Drop). Anticipating a response back saying using promo codes invalidates the offer. In my opinion - horrible company.

    • not for me. I've had major issues with them. Submitted a complain to BBB, and they have not responded after a month...and my transaction posted 1/3.

    • Not for me. I had to submit a ticket last time after 8 days. I also had my Drop balance and pending credit removed for some reason, so I'm looking at what that's for.

    • Same with me. I was on a bit of a good streak with swagbucks until this. I am hoping that drop tracks which will still make the purchase free, and if that happens, I will just try again.

    • Mine tracked almost immediately, actually got the email confirmation which I rarely get from SB

    • Same here - I made the order about 5 hours ago and it still hasn't tracked. I'll give it a day or two before I escalate to Swagbucks customer service.

      • Update: I opened a ticket with Swagbucks over the weekend. They confirmed the purchase was valid and applied 1,500 SB to my account today.

  • Does anyone know if you can double dip on offers from RevU and the Discover page? I've already done this offer through RevU but would like to try a second time.
