The Fine Print

  • This offer is not transferable.
  • For a Wells Fargo Debit Card, credit earned through this offer will be applied as a statement credit to the primary Wells Fargo consumer checking account linked to your debit card within 45 days following your first completed purchase using Wells Fargo Wallet by September 30th, 2017. Before we provide the $10 credit to your checking account statement, your checking account must have a U.S. Taxpayer Identification Number associated with it.
  • For a Wells Fargo Credit Card, credit earned through this offer will be applied as a statement credit to your Wells Fargo Credit Card account within 1 to 2 billing periods following the end of the promotional period, March 25, 2017. To qualify for this promotional offer, your Wells Fargo Credit Card account must be open, not delinquent, and not in default at the time of fulfillment.
  • If you enroll more than one eligible Wells Fargo card in Wells Fargo Wallet and complete a transaction, you will only receive a single $10 statement credit for a completed Wallet purchase. This offer is not transferable.

  • Tried paying with the WF Mobile Wallet App earlier at McD's and failed many times. NFC was on, WF Mobile Wallet was set up properly. I held the Phone close to the Pay Terminal and got a message saying something like "please use only 1 card" or something like that. I only have 1 WF Credit Card set up for my Wallet...

    In the end I had to use Android Pay and it worked flawlessly on 1st attempt....

    Did anyone experience a similar situation?

  • Bought a pack of gum for under a buck on Dec 1st. No immediate credit. The language does say the credit will post in the next statement. And now that the card statement has closed, still no $10 credit. The transaction is coded as "Purchase Mode: Card Present - PayWave". Is this the same for those who already got the credit?

    • Not sure an easy free $10 is a penny deal. These deals also add up. Not all readers are in a position where $10 is nothing to them, the title is clear so if it isn't a good enough deal for you you can skip over it ;).

          I've made hundreds just from the so called penny deals this year. Just sayin. All comes down to how you value your time (I have way more time than $ personally, this site has been great for me).

    • I am as they are very easy. These are the deals I love because they require nearly zero effort. I am definitely here for the bigger deals like you, but I do enjoy a quickie every now and then... am I right.... see what I did there ;)

  • Might be worth a repost as it looks like this is active again. I recently just signed up for a checking account for a bonus with Wells Fargo. I downloaded the Wells Fargo app on 11/18/17 (Android). Upon opening the app and checking out the "Wallet" feature, I was greeted with an offer for a $10 credit after my first purchase using Wells Fargo Wallet. The expiration for me is 1/20/18.

    Requirements: NFC enabled phone, Wells Fargo debit or credit card, New User to Wells Fargo Wallet

  • Thanks again Doc. Would never had known about this offer if I hadn't read about it here. Downloaded the app, enabled NFC, used it at Walgreens (thanks Mimi) and got the instant $10 credit !! I've now uninstalled app cause I use Samsung pay.
