Lots of people today are reporting being able to claim a free Lowe’s $5 gift card now in their Verizon Up app. This is a free offer and does not even use up a credit. Seems like most people are seeing this, but not all.
Others mention seeing Amazon, Gap, AMC or other brands – those offers use up a credit so you’ll have to decide if that’s what you want to use your credit on.

This is the result of the light touch scam that the FCC chairman of a particular party is pulling on the American people.
Strong regulation would never let this shit fly.
Yeah I am a Verizon customer and have stayed away from this one. Though I'm sure I give up ungodly amounts of information to Swagbucks and Dosh and even my credit card companies so not sure why I made a stand here but I just find this program unseemly. Ultimately I am probably just missing out on easy rewards for data they can mine anyways and admittedly would probably join if the rewards were $20 instead of $5.

I was actually able to claim 2 Lowe's gift cards without using any credits. I'm assuming it was because I had 2 credits available for me to use, but I'm not sure! Interesting if so.
What to do with lowers gift cards?
Crap, didn't know I had to enroll in this thing, wasted 3 credit since last August :( No offer for me, I guess because I just enrolled.
